Official registration to tournament in Wilanów
Dear Players
Here’s some new important information regarding tournament in Wilanów.
Entry fee:

Please state Your nick on BFaS forum.
Deadline for payments is 15th of March. Once we receive Your payment, Your name will be added to official players’ list, as long as limit of 80 contestants is not yet reached. If we will reach this limit before 15th of March, we will stop further registration and payments, then we will refund payments to those that didn’t manage to get into final 80. If it happens that some players will make payments after reaching the limit but before we announce such fact, they will be informed by us and sing up for reserve list.
Updates will confirm number of registered players will be posted daily.
Until 22nd of March You can withdraw Your name from the list and You will receive full refund of entry fee. After that date refunds won’t be available.
After 22nd of March we will inform about any possible available spaces in registration list. Vacancies will be fill in from reserve list.
Welcome pack:
Each player will receive welcome pack, containing:
- badge with name and nick from BFaS forum
- full set of tournament’s files
- limited special edition miniature
- special scenario markers – that will be surprise, so no more about it yet...
- set of game graphics
- 5 ducats (special currency for Wargamer’s tournament – see below)
There may be some extras in welcome pack – we’re still working on it.
You will receive badge, sets of files and graphics plus shiny ducats at Your registration at the tournament’s site. You will receive markers and miniature during the awards ceremony at the end of the tournament. All players’ presence during this ceremony is required, otherwise You won’t be able to receive elements of Your welcome pack.
Ducats can be used on Wargamer’s stand, where You can exchange them for prizes from new ducat catalogue, that we’re currently working on.
We hope to introduce some alternative way to spend ducats – we will keep You posted about it.
Meet the authors of our graphics:
During the tournament You will have a chance to meet two authors of graphics from our rulebook: Ryszard Morawski and Tomasz Tworek. Their works will be including in Welcome Pack, so why not to have a chat with them and maybe get the authograph?

Dear Players
Few new informations regarding Tournament.
Prizes:
Winner of the 1st place will of course receive copy of hetman Jan Sobieski’s baton, sponsored by Museum in Wilanów
Official prize system for Ground Tournaments (available to download from our website) is in place during this event.
But that’s not all, You should know that we have some aces in sleeve... Full list of prizes will be published soon.
Tournament rules:
We’re still working on some final details for this year Tournament’s set of rules. It will be available on our forum asap.
Cost:
Cost of player’s entry fee into tournament but also composition of ‘player’s set’ (which means: what I have for all my money? Except two days of playing, that is...) will also be announced soon. We’re working on few extra details there, we hope You will like them.
We would like also to remind You, that current player’s declarations on our forum are ONLY to check possible interest, they’re not official. Once cost of entry will be published, then You can officially register for tournament by paying entry fee. Players’ list will be then set up according to time of their payments, not according to current declaration list.
Hotel:
We suggest to You hotel Atos. It’s cheap and don’t have many luxuries but it’s placed very near to the Museum. Price is very good: 105 PLN per night/room, no matter if it’s 1,2 or 3-beds room. Believe us when we say – You cannot have better price in Warsaw. On top of it, You can book breakfast for 20 PLN/person.

Due to really low price of their room, hotel do not provide us with special discount for tournament’s players.
Transport from Airport:
All players coming to Poland from abroad will be pick up by us from airport and transported to the hotel. We will discuss each individual case with You via PM on our forum.
Catering during the tournament:
Currently we’re negotiating with catering company to serve hot and cold meals, also tea and coffee during our event. There are also few restaurants near the Museum itself. Whole information about available venues will be provided during the tournament.

Wargaming convention Tactica will take place in Hamburg, Germany, on 22-23 of February. This year for the first time BFaS team will be present there – 4 of us are going to Hamburg. We will run demo games and will be teaching basing rules. On our stand You can also find all new sets and few surprises...

During our BFaS campaign on Kickstarter we’ve prepared for few backers special sets of terrains: already assembled, painted and ready to play. Individual By Fire and Sword Championships 2014
Date: 29-30 March 2014
On behalf of Wargamer and the Museum of the Palace at Wilanów we would like to invite you to Individual By Fire and Sword Championships 2014.
Thanks to the kindness of the Museum at Wilanów the tournament will take place in the orangery among the buildings of the Museum. It will be amazing opportunity to play in area of king John III Sobieski’s palace!
The Championships will be held at the SKIRMISH level.
The official By Fire and Sword tournament rules will be in force.
More information on the event will be available soon in dedicated topic on BFaS forum.
We will also post information about available places to stay during the tournament, transport from airport, etc. We wait for your initial, noncommittal entries.
